NOT SURE IF THE TITTLE SHOULD BE:BUSY,BUSY,BUSY! OR, THE STOCKING DAY.
Wow, what a busy week we have had so far. Not enough days and time in them to get everything done that I have planned. The kids had a great day on Tuesday at their friends. It was a little awkward at first, as they have not seen each other in for years. But a little pizza and off to the park did the trick to reacquaint them all.
We all met up again yesterday and went to the beach. What a beautiful day we had. One I am sure we won’t see in these parts for months to come lol. The kids had a great time digging in water, building towers, and dipping their toes in the water. We were all completely exhausted when we got home. Angus woke me out of a dead sleep at 8:15 PM when he got home from work last night lol. Parts of my body look like a lobstah, as they say around here. I was sure to smother the kids in sun screen and forgot my self.
Today we are off to visit and play with my niece and nephew. The SIL and I are going to do some brain storming on the OS situation too. You are not going to believe what just happened in the middle of writing the last paragraph lol! My sister is online, which means she has the day off, she pops off line, the phone rings unavailable. I don’t pick up, no message is left. I sign back on and there she is again. Five minutes later my mothers cell rings in. I don’t answer and let it go to the machine. She beeps in numbers, the phone codes tell me she is um LISTENING in on the house (I have one of these phones myself so I know the code numbers). Can you freaking believe it! These people really need to get a life.
My mother and her boyfriend were here last night trying to fix the windows so they will open. When she asked me what I had planned for today, I just told her I didn’t know yet. No lie, I really wasn’t sure we were going to make it to the play date today or not. Well I guess I could change that tittle up there to Let The Stocking Begin LOL. I did have some other stuff to blog about but, after all that I can’t remember what it was. Time to shower and head off to Maine. Wish me luck that we can come up with some ideas on how to live with all this crap they pull.
